  1. When you wind any Stephania plant, it is not in any plant form. Firstly, you get it in the raw form i.e. the caudex or potato. 
  2. To start the germination process, you need to soak the caudex in warm water for at least 24 hours. Make sure the node is in the upper direction. 
  3. In the button line, you can either put a thin layer of rocks or simply soil. Rocks help in the drainage system.
